About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Madisonville, Kentucky, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. This unarmed patrol role involves routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service. A valid driver’s license is required. This is a part-time position with scheduled shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, is required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, and escalate concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter locations.
Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence that helps deter unauthorized activity.
