About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Columbus, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, teamwork, and integrity. This is a full-time position paying $15.24 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday and Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements and for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and drivers, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
Observe loading and distribution operations for unusual activity, promptly report security concerns, and support a professional environment for employees and visitors.
