About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Petersburg, Indiana. The role is an unarmed patrol position serving clients in a range of industries. The officer conducts routine patrols throughout assigned locations, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, reports security-related concerns, and provides professional customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. The position requires driving and a valid driver’s license. The pay rate is $16.71 per hour. The schedule includes Tuesday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Thursday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Friday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and report security-related concerns.
Communicate professionally and represent Allied Universal’s values.
