About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Oxford, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients at a chemical and petrochemical location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The role is part-time and scheduled Wednesday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, at a pay rate of $14.50 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; promptly notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders when needed.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related matters.
