Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania, to serve and safeguard clients in transportation settings. This is a driving, unarmed security role. The officer monitors and patrols transportation locations, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, responds to concerns, and provides customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and the public. The position pays $18.50 per hour and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The scheduled shifts are Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Saturday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements. State or local licensing may also be required prior to employment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
- State and/or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, transportation personnel, visitors, and drivers while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, loading zones, entry points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Monitor access points and vehicle or pedestrian activity in accordance with site policies.
- Document observations and complete required reports.
- Assist with traffic flow, provide visitor directions, and perform other assigned security-related duties while maintaining a professional presence.
