About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our growing team. This position is heavily focused on traffic management, internet lead conversion, customer engagement, and sales team development. Over 80% of today's automotive business starts online. We are looking for a leader who understands how to convert digital opportunities into showroom traffic, appointments, and vehicle sales. This is not a traditional desk manager role. The primary focus is driving business, working directly with customers, taking manager turns, and helping sales consultants maximize every opportunity. If you are process-driven, highly accountable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Automotive Sales Management experience required
  • Strong CRM and internet sales experience
  • Proven ability to drive traffic and convert leads into sales
  • Successful pre-owned vehicle experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Must pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Drive internet, phone, chat, and showroom traffic into sales opportunities
  • Monitor CRM activity and ensure timely customer follow-up
  • Improve appointment-setting, show rates, and closing percentages
  • Take manager turns with serious buyers and assist in closing deals
  • Coach and develop sales consultants on lead management and sales process execution
  • Hold team members accountable to daily activity and performance goals
  • Work closely with BDC, marketing, finance, and service departments
  • Assist with deal structure and desking responsibilities as needed
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and CSI
  • Help drive both volume and profitability
