About The Position

Hotel Covington and The Madison Event Center are seeking a senior sales professional to generate and win new business across corporate meetings and events, corporate and entertainment group room blocks, and negotiated business travel accounts. The position is full-time and in-office at Hotel Covington and The Madison Event Center in Covington, Kentucky, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends for networking, client meetings, and business needs.

Requirements

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills, including confidence connecting with decision-makers, earning trust, and asking for the business.
  • Experience in corporate sales, business development, hospitality, events, or another sales environment.
  • Ability to manage an account portfolio, track performance, and identify opportunities for repeat business and growth.
  • Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to balance prospecting, active deals, and account commitments.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to exceptional service for clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Availability to work full-time on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends for networking, client meetings, and business needs.
