About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The unit focuses on renal transplant, urology, peritoneal dialysis, pulmonary hypertension, and other areas of care. The hospital is a Magnet-designated, 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level I Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. It is also one of eight nationally accredited Pulmonary Hypertension Centers in Texas and was ranked #1 in the United States on the 2023 Fortune/PINC AI Top 100 Hospitals list. This is a full-time position scheduled for 36 hours per week on the day shift, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., in Temple, Texas.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; specialized field of study must be nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 6 months of RN experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer; must be obtained within 30 days of starting in the role if not already held.
- All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA).
