About The Position

BAYADA at Inspira Hospice is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to serve hospice clients on a per-visit basis in territories throughout Salem, Cumberland, and Gloucester County, New Jersey. The Registered Nurse is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing palliative care and helping clients receive the medical care needed to remain at home.

The role involves following care plans, making home visits, providing and documenting nursing care, monitoring client conditions, and coordinating case management. Nurses use a touch pad tablet to document client care. The position requires travel to assigned cases and the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Base pay is $42.00–$47.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and status, and subject to negotiation.

Requirements

• Hold a current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
• Have a minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Have strong interpersonal skills.
• Have solid computer skills.
• Be able to travel to assigned cases.

Nice To Haves

• Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with the patient's needs.
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Provide case management and coordination.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care management and services provided, using a touch pad tablet.
