About The Position
DJM Design CAD & Coordination Services, Inc. is an established BIM drafting and coordination firm providing high-quality design support, clash detection, and BIM coordination management services for the construction industry. We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager to support our project team and help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in construction, engineering, architecture, or BIM/CAD project coordination preferred.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or related software is a plus.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and coordinating multiple BIM/CAD projects.
- Communicate with clients and internal team members.
- Track project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Coordinate BIM models and drawing submissions.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting notes, and distribute action items.
- Maintain project documentation and records.
- Support quality control of drawings and coordination models.
- Assist with change orders, RFIs, and project reporting.
