About The Position

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the successful delivery of hyperscale data center construction projects. The role coordinates project activities, maintains schedules, tracks costs, and manages project documentation. The APM works with Project Managers, contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to help ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The APM also supports subcontractor communication, cost and risk controls, commissioning, turnover, procurement, and daily project execution across multiple stakeholders. The position is based onsite in Saline, Michigan, and is a contract role.

Requirements

Project management skills.
Construction and construction management knowledge or experience.
Data center project knowledge or experience.
Project coordination skills.
Experience with construction management tools.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to support work across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Coordinate project activities for hyperscale data center construction projects.
Maintain project schedules and track project costs.
Manage project documentation.
Coordinate communication with subcontractors, contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders.
Assist with cost and risk controls.
Support commissioning, project turnover, procurement, and daily project execution.
Help ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
