About The Position

Esse Health is seeking a compassionate full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for our office of Dr.'s Knapp & Miranda. This is a full-time opening working 4 days a week with 10-hour shifts. The day off will likely be on Tuesday or Thursday. The role involves working 2 days at the St. Peters office location and 2 days at the Florissant office location. This is an outpatient-focused clinical practice with no nights, weekends, or holidays. The provider will join a collaborative team and develop a 1:1 relationship with patients and clinical staff members. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive primary care services to adult patients, conducting patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, and developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with a physician partner. Emphasis will be placed on preventive care, wellness, and patient education. Accurate and efficient documentation in the electronic health record (NextGen) is required, as is coordinating care with specialists and other healthcare team members, and participating in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing or Physician Assistant-Master’s Degree
  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in Missouri (or eligibility)
  • Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner (or eligibility)
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians
