Responsibilities

• Maintain Payroll Records: Collect, calculate, and enter payroll data accurately and on schedule.
• Update Employee Info: Enter changes related to exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job titles, and department transfers.
• Generate Reports: Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
• Calculate Liabilities: Determine payroll liabilities, including employee federal and state income tax, Social Security, unemployment, and workers' compensation.
• Resolve Issues: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies quickly and professionally.
• Support Employees: Provide accurate payroll information and respond to questions and requests.
• Ensure Compliance: Follow company payroll procedures and report any necessary updates or policy changes.
• Maintain Confidentiality: Protect sensitive payroll information and uphold privacy standards.
• Assist with Requests: Process employment verifications and garnishment documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with Team: Contribute to the department’s success by supporting broader payroll goals.
