The Payroll Clerk is responsible for auditing Human Resource transactions into the payroll system, overseeing the maintenance of time clocks, and preparing on-demand checks for payroll adjustments. This role verifies PTO records, updates the payroll system for miscellaneous employee deductions and adjustments, and is responsible for transmitting payroll information. The clerk ensures supporting documentation is provided, maintains awareness for discrepancies or suspicious circumstances, and investigates as required. They follow up as needed, including related correspondence within established guidelines. This position serves as an outstanding example and credit to Downstream Casino Resort. Other duties may be assigned by the Accounting Manager and Director of Finance, and assistance in other projects may be directed.
