About The Position
Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Print & Mail Production Operator to support high-volume print and fulfillment operations. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining mailing equipment, ensuring accurate and timely processing of direct mail campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in production, print, or direct mail environment preferred
- Experience operating production or mailing equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (mail trays, bins, materials)
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot mail inserter and production equipment
- Execute high-volume print and direct mail jobs with accuracy
- Ensure all mail meets USPS regulations and internal quality standards
- Monitor equipment performance to maintain optimal speed and output
- Stage, organize, and assemble materials for mailing and distribution
- Maintain inventory of printed materials and supplies
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Support daily mail distribution and coordination for USPS pickup or delivery
- Assist with receiving deliveries and general fulfillment tasks
