About The Position

DFA/Kemps Dairy is hiring a Vacation Relief operator to pick, pull, and build orders; palletize products; load, unload, and stage materials for outgoing delivery; and work at assigned stations or lines. Warehouse operators safely operate material-handling equipment and machinery in warehouse, cooler, freezer, or dock environments. The position is with Oak Farms Dairy, part of Dairy Farmers of America, a farmer-owned dairy marketing cooperative. The role pays $26.90 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., with Saturday and Sunday off. Operators may need to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must pass pre-employment screenings, including drug, background, and criminal checks.
Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend for virtually the entire shift.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, assist others when lifting is necessary, and manually stack and move cases up to 6–8 cases high.
Must be able to work in a wet environment at temperatures maintained between 35 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
