The Supervisor reports to the Senior Operation Manager and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees within the shift and assigned buildings. This role carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable State and Federal laws. The Supervisor assists in managing the overall activities of a project(s) and supervises the project crew. Key responsibilities include coordinating services activities for assigned buildings, ensuring services are performed as contracted and meet customer specifications, maintaining and monitoring work schedules of all shift personnel, establishing work performance standards, conducting quality assurance checks, managing materials inventory and general use of equipment, including key controls and snow removal services. The role also involves resolving on-site services delivery problems, participating in ongoing management/technical skills development training programs (including safety and safety site committee), conducting orientation of new employees, developing employees’ skills and abilities, performing conference room set-ups and occasional internal moves, and maintaining effective on-going customer relations. The incumbent is responsible for assisting in the management of the site account, including work-scheduling of all shift personnel, establishing work standards in conjunction with the Manager, conducting site evaluations/audits, overall inventory/equipment usage, budget control, employee evaluations, trouble-shooting/problem solving, orientation/safety training personnel, customer relations, payroll (time sheets, check distribution) and special project work as requested.
