About The Position
Huntington Beach Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for its Behavioral Health department. The CNA is a licensed assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. This is a full-time night-shift position.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
