About The Position
Reporting to the Nursing Director of the assigned area, the Nursing Assistant performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN)/Charge Nurse and is responsible for providing high-quality, individualized basic care activities within the Nursing Assistant scope of practice. The position is in the Step Down department and works day shifts with Holiday Rotation C. The role provides essential assistance and comfort to patients to support their healthcare experience. Requirements
- High school diploma preferred.
- Completion of nursing assistant certification upon hire.
- Current BLS certification.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification required, or be a current second-semester nursing student when hired or transferred into the position.
- Three months of skilled nursing or hospital experience preferred.
