About The Position

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible and accountable for assisting the RN or LPN in patient care. The CNA also assists with gathering information to support the RN/LPN in implementing patient care. This is a night-shift, full-time position on the Step Down unit. The role provides essential assistance and comfort to patients and supports their care experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Florida CNA license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in acute care and patient care.
• Formal Certified Nurses Aide training.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN or LPN in patient care.
• Gather information to assist the RN/LPN in implementing patient care.
