About The Position

Promise Home Care is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide compassionate in-home care. The listed day-shift schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for a client in Longwood, Florida. Other shifts are available for applicants with open or flexible availability. Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours, with consistent weekly hours. Same-day pay is available, and the company provides a telemedicine health plan paid 100% by the employer. Caregivers provide personal care and companionship in clients’ homes, assist with daily living activities, help with light housekeeping and meal preparation, monitor and report changes in client condition, and provide emotional support. The role calls for a caring, patient, reliable, and communicative person committed to high-quality care.

Requirements

Florida CNA license or Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate.
Active driver’s license and a reliable vehicle; must be able to drive.
Active auto insurance.
Active CPR certification.
Health physical or health statement completed within the last year.
Negative TB test from within the last year, or a negative chest X-ray from within the last five years.
Level 2 background screening through AHCA, or ability to successfully pass a background check.
Caring, patient, reliable, and communicative, with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Flexible availability, including potential evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes.
Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ condition.
Offer emotional support and a warm, caring presence.
