About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a Home Health Aide (HHA) to serve patients in the listed counties as part of its Assistive Care Division. Following a written plan of care from a registered nurse, the HHA provides personal care, household support, and companionship to help adults remain safe and independent at home. The role involves one-on-one client care and building close relationships while assisting with daily activities and other needs. Previous home health or patient care experience is welcome but not required; training is provided. The position offers per-diem hours and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide household support, including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Assist clients with range-of-motion exercises.
Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
Travel to assigned clients’ homes.
Deliver compassionate, reliable, and respectful patient care.
