About The Position

Acacia Health Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to residents in its senior living and skilled nursing community in NE Phoenix. The position is scheduled from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Starting pay is $19.00–$24.00 per hour, based on license date. A flu vaccine is required. The role involves helping residents with daily activities, treatments, transfers, and positioning while maintaining a safe, sanitary, and caring environment.

Requirements

• Successfully complete an approved nursing assistant training program.
• Hold a current Arizona CNA license.
• Have valid CPR certification with BLS and AED training.
• Understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care.
• Be physically able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs, stand, reach, assist with resident transfers up to 125 lbs, and push residents in wheelchairs or shower chairs.
• Provide high levels of customer care with compassion and heart.
• Receive a flu vaccine.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assist residents with daily activities, including taking vitals and administering treatments.
• Answer call lights.
• Change linens and keep resident rooms tidy.
• Maintain safe and sanitary work conditions.
• Assist with resident transfers and positioning.
• Perform routine tasks with a smile and genuine care for residents.
