About The Position

Avante at Melbourne is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and help maintain a positive physical, social, and psychological environment in a skilled nursing facility. Full-time and part-time positions are available across all shifts at the Melbourne, Florida location. The role requires applicable CNA certification or training toward meeting state and federal CNA requirements, along with required background screening.

Requirements

Be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet applicable federal and state certification requirements, or be in training to satisfactorily complete those requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have completed high school or a GED equivalent, or otherwise demonstrate the ability to read and write and follow oral commands in English.
Have previous experience or have completed an appropriate training course.
Have a positive attitude toward elderly people.
Be eligible for clearance through the abuse registry and Department of Law Enforcement.
Complete the required background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
