About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides hands-on patient care in a skilled nursing setting, assists residents with activities of daily living, and helps ensure patient safety, comfort, dignity, and independence. The role works as part of a healthcare team and supports individualized care plans and patient outcomes. The position is full time at Skilled Nursing at The Colonnades at Reflection Bay in Pearland, Texas. The salary range is undisclosed.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and a patient-first mindset.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
- Monitor and observe patients and report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse.
- Accurately document patient care and daily activities in accordance with regulations.
- Support and follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment.
- Ensure medical equipment and devices are clean, charged, and functioning properly.
- Participate in shift handoffs, team communication, and ongoing training.
- Follow state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.
- Promote patient dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
