Certified Nursing Assistant CNA
About The Position
Brookdale Centre of New England in Coventry, Rhode Island, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide personalized care to residents in its assisted living and memory care community. CNAs work with community management, check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care, perform vital-sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy, and share resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift. The role requires successful completion of a state CNA course and maintenance of certification. Brookdale offers full-time and part-time schedules, flexible scheduling, shift differentials for second and third shifts, and an additional hourly differential for weekends. Career advancement opportunities may include Medication Technician (QMAP), Home Care Aide, and nursing positions.
Requirements
- Hold a CNA license.
- Successfully complete a state CNA course and maintain certification.
Responsibilities
- Work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care.
- Give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Check in with residents and assist with dining and personal care needs.
- Perform vital-sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including showers, bathroom assistance, dressing, and grooming.
