About The Position

We’re looking for a motivated NOC Analyst Intern to join our team and gain real-world experience in IT operations, system monitoring, patching, security alert response, and client support. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to grow a career in network operations, systems administration, cybersecurity, or managed IT services. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced NOC Technicians and Analysts to help keep client systems secure, updated, backed up, and running smoothly. You’ll get exposure to industry tools like ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise Automate, and Power BI, while building technical and operational skills that are foundational to a successful IT career.

Requirements

  • A student or recent graduate in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong interest in IT operations, infrastructure support, cybersecurity, or managed services
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage tasks, follow processes, and work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Applicants must live within driving distance of our clients, offices, and team events to support client relationships, onboarding, and ongoing collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of Windows systems, patching, or endpoint management
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems or IT support workflows
  • Exposure to backup concepts, monitoring tools, or reporting dashboards
  • Interest in pursuing a long-term career in technical operations or support

Responsibilities

  • Support System Patching and Updates: Help monitor patch compliance across client systems, assist with monthly patch reviews and follow-up checks after patch cycles, identify and document systems that need attention or further review, and learn how patching, feature updates, and audit processes are managed in a production environment.
  • Respond to System Health and Security Alerts: Monitor and help respond to normal-priority alerts related to system health and security, support timely first responses in alignment with team service expectations, and assist with documenting alert activity and tracking trends over time.
  • Assist with Backup and Annual Audits: Help complete quarterly backup audits for client environments, support annual audit preparation, review, and clean handoff to the CTM team, track completion through tickets and reporting tools, and help ensure client records and audit outcomes are accurate and up to date.
  • Contribute to Operational Excellence: Help keep tickets, boards, and documentation clean and organized, support team utilization and billable time goals, learn how operational metrics are used to improve service quality and team performance, and gain exposure to how a high-performing NOC operates day to day.
