About The Position
Mustang Cat is hiring experienced Engine Rebuild Mechanics for shop and field service roles. In this position, you will disassemble, repair, and restore diesel and natural gas industrial engines supporting infrastructure and industries throughout Texas. Work may be performed independently in the shop or at customer sites using a field service truck.
Requirements
- Must own the proper tools to perform necessary repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous mechanic or military experience.
- Knowledge of electronic, hydraulic, and engine systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical problems independently.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree or certificate from a technical school preferred.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble, inspect, and recondition diesel and natural gas engines.
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Remove and install engines and generator systems.
- Test and adjust components for optimal performance.
- Conduct technical analysis and failure diagnosis.
- Work independently in the shop or at customer sites using a field service truck.
