About The Position
Allegiance Industries is hiring a Material Handler for a manufacturing facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role combines warehouse material handling with floor care and janitorial duties. The position offers on-the-job training and has first-, second-, and weekend-shift options. The listed hourly pay range is $19.00–$21.00.
Requirements
- Forklift experience.
- Auto scrubber experience.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
- Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate them to appropriate staff.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments.
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and move goods around warehouses and other industrial sites.
- Operate a riding auto scrubber to clean floors and surface areas.
- Keep aisles clear by sweeping and removing empty pallets, loose cardboard boxes, and other debris.
- Empty waste and recycling bins.
- Assist with the production line as needed.
- Assist with janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Load and unload materials from various vehicles.
- Perform equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Follow written instructions and keep records.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
