About The Position

The Material Handler I locates and identifies parts in the warehouse and moves or delivers parts and containers using a forklift, Raymond, or hoist. The role also counts parts or weighs them using scales, and uses a computer to check part locations, inventory, and routing or ordering information. The employee performs routine forklift service, including filling the propane tank, checking and adding engine oil, cleaning the radiator, and washing the forklift.

Requirements

• Have appropriate reading, clerical, and basic math skills.
• Be able to understand written instructions, record transactions accurately, and perform basic calculations.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior forklift experience and/or certification.
