About The Position

GXO is hiring a Material Handler to support facility operations by moving materials and inventory. The role may involve packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, verifying orders, and labeling products. Material Handlers use hand trucks, conveyors, handheld scanners, and other material-handling equipment while following the 7S program and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The work requires lifting objects up to 50 pounds, standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods, performing bending and other physical movements, handling tools or equipment, and tolerating hot or cold warehouse conditions. Applicants who receive a conditional offer may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.
