About The Position

As a Material Handler/Driver at Brekhus in Denver, Colorado, you will safely transport, handle, and deliver tile and stone products while also supporting warehouse operations. Duties include loading and unloading materials, organizing and tracking inventory, preparing orders, maintaining warehouse safety and cleanliness, and delivering products to customers and project sites. The role requires professional customer interactions, accurate paperwork, vehicle inspections, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Work takes place in a fast-paced warehouse and outdoor environment, with frequent travel to locations in and around Denver. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds regularly and 100 pounds with assistance.
Frequent bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliveries and tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform daily vehicle inspections.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have valid U.S. work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship.
Must pass a drug screening and background check.
Ability to work on-site and in an office setting and travel to project sites.
Flexibility in working hours based on project needs.

Nice To Haves

Experience in material handling, logistics, or delivery driving, especially in the tile and stone industry.
Experience working in a warehouse environment.
Forklift and other material handling equipment certification, or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

Safely load and unload tile and stone products without damaging materials or property.
Organize and store warehouse materials by product type and size, ensuring products are labeled and kept in designated areas.
Conduct inventory checks and help maintain accurate stock records.
Keep the warehouse clean, safe, organized, and free from hazards; keep aisles and storage areas accessible.
Restock and replenish materials as shipments arrive.
Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment to move heavy items, if certified.
Pick and pack orders for shipment or delivery.
Work with team members to optimize warehouse space and storage efficiency.
Transport materials safely and promptly to customer locations and project sites in Denver and surrounding areas.
Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with safety and traffic regulations and communicate delivery delays or issues to clients.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair needs to the Materials Manager.
Follow safety protocols for material handling, vehicle operation, and warehouse work.
Complete and submit delivery and warehouse paperwork accurately and on time.
Follow Brekhus Tile & Stone, Inc. policies and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Interact professionally and courteously with clients, answer delivery-related questions, and assist in verifying delivered materials.
Assist with warehouse cleaning and organization when not driving or handling materials.
Support other departments with inventory management, receiving shipments, and fulfilling orders as needed.
