About The Position

Suburban Marble & Granite is hiring a full-time, entry-level Material Handler - Stone Fabrication Associate in Warminster, Pennsylvania. The role supports efficient stone-fabrication operations by receiving and inspecting slab deliveries, organizing and tracking inventory, staging materials for production, and coordinating with fabricators, project managers, and drivers. Work takes place in a semi-open yard or workshop environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with occasional overtime and weekend work as business needs require. Pay is $18–$22 per hour, based on experience. Applicants must be able to pass a background check.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Ability to safely lift and maneuver 50–75 pounds.
Basic computer or tablet skills.
Current forklift certification or ability to become certified upon hire.
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods in a semi-open yard or workshop environment.
Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or construction environment is preferred.
Experience handling natural stone, tile, or oversized materials is a plus.
Experience with overhead cranes or slab-handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Receive incoming slab deliveries.
Inspect materials for quality and accuracy.
Safely unload slabs using forklifts, overhead cranes, and specialized handling equipment.
Organize inventory and track materials.
Stage the correct slabs for production.
Coordinate with fabricators, project managers, and drivers to keep workflow running smoothly.
