About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of skilled trades, including construction or installation, repair and maintenance, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-ready work.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including walking, standing, climbing stairs or ladders, accessing property areas, and occasionally lifting or carrying items up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
• A flexible schedule, including weekdays, nights, and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• HVAC experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow the make-ready checklist and complete necessary apartment repairs and improvements as directed by a supervisor or manager.
• Inspect sheetrock and make repairs; caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers; and perform touch-up painting.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for make-ready tasks.
• Control expenses by repairing parts rather than replacing them when appropriate and avoiding waste of supplies.
• Help maintain property curb appeal by picking up trash, pressure-washing, cleaning, and painting as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and OSHA training, comply with safety and risk-management requirements, and promptly and accurately report accidents and incidents.
• Provide respectful customer service and complete assigned work efficiently and urgently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
