About The Position

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join its on-site operations team and support a positive experience for residents. The role focuses on restoring vacant apartment homes to market-ready status and completing apartment turns in time to meet move-in deadlines. Work includes drywall repairs, painting, caulking, grouting, appliance and fixture repairs or replacement, and other maintenance tasks. The technician may also assist with snow and ice removal and complete necessary administrative paperwork. The company offers on-the-job training and development, career growth opportunities, and a compensation plan starting at $20.33 per hour or higher based on experience.

Requirements

Previous building maintenance experience working with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, and appliance repair is preferred.
Possess own tools.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the team dress code policy.
Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and co-workers.
Have basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs.
Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
Complete the vacant apartment turn process in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting.
Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, and windows; perform carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
Assist with snow and ice removal, as required.
Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
