About The Position

Edward Rose & Sons is hiring a Make Ready Maintenance Technician for the on-site operations team at Wingate Apartments. The role supports a positive resident experience by restoring vacant apartments to market-ready condition and completing apartment turns by move-in deadlines. Requirements

Previous building maintenance experience with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred; training may be provided.
HVAC certification or experience is preferred; training may be provided.
Possess own tools.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the team dress code policy.
Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and coworkers.
Have basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs.
Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Previous building maintenance experience across drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC.
HVAC certification or experience.

Responsibilities

Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
Complete vacant apartment turns in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting.
Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, and windows; perform carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
