About The Position

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join its on-site operations team and support a positive resident experience. The role focuses on restoring vacant apartment homes to market-ready status and completing apartment turns on time for upcoming move-ins. The position may also include snow and ice removal and other duties assigned by a supervisor. The company offers on-the-job training and career development opportunities.

Requirements

Previous building maintenance experience with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred; the company is willing to train.
Possess own tools.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the team dress code policy.
Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and co-workers.
Have basic computer skills and be comfortable learning software, apps, and programs.
Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

HVAC certification or experience is preferred; the company is willing to train.

Responsibilities

Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
Complete vacant apartment turns in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting.
Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, and windows; perform carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
Assist with snow and ice removal, as required.
Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
