About The Position

Guardian Flight is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of their fleet, specifically supporting the Pilatus PC-12 airframe. This role is crucial for ensuring the team can safely maintain and deliver timely, high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients. The position is a full-time opportunity in Grand Forks, ND, with a starting salary range of $78,287 - $113,480 annually, including a 20% Geo Modifier, an IA Stipend of $2,080, and a $12,500 Sign-On Bonus. The schedule is Monday-Friday or a 4/10 option.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Valid State issued Driver's license.
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
  • Knowledge of EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Pilatus PC-12 maintenance experience.
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate.
  • Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135.
  • Autopilot maintenance experience.
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, and repairs.
  • Provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment.
  • Regularly update the equipment tracking log.
  • Place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
  • Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and the operations team.
