About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician II at Liv Ahwatukee, you will help create exceptional living experiences for residents by maintaining the community and its homes. This hands-on role involves service requests, apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and a variety of building and grounds projects. The position also emphasizes quality workmanship, teamwork, accountability, safety, and positive relationships with residents and teammates.

Requirements

• Previous apartment maintenance, facilities, construction, or related maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or building systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Understanding that resident service is as important as technical expertise.
• Comfort working outdoors and in varying weather conditions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests with urgency, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Perform apartment turns and prepare homes for new residents.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, irrigation, pool, and general maintenance projects.
• Inspect amenities, common areas, and community grounds to maintain exceptional curb appeal.
• Partner with vendors, contractors, and team members to complete projects effectively.
• Follow safety standards and contribute to a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build positive resident relationships.
• Incorporate Liv Communities’ Why, Promise, Values, and Liv It! concept into strategy, daily decision-making, and relationships.
