About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for efficiently performing necessary maintenance for the apartment community and assisting the Maintenance Supervisor with directing and managing the community’s overall maintenance programs. The position performs a range of repairs and preventive maintenance, responds to emergency service calls, and supports community and resident needs.

Requirements

At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and be on call.
Punctual, dependable, and self-starting.
Team-player approach.

Responsibilities

Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C, and electrical duties.
Assist the Service Manager with tasks as required by community needs.
Ensure service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Perform preventive maintenance repairs.
Respond to automated service on emergency calls according to company policy.
Assist with resident functions.
Participate in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program.
