About The Position

Lancer Scott is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to cover the Cardiff area, carrying out a range of building services work orders with a focus on plumbing. The role includes installation and making good of plasterboard, skirting and boxing in across different spaces; first- and second-fix plumbing in hospitality spaces; general repairs; and internal and external decorating projects. The technician will coordinate materials, communicate with clients, confirm work meets required standards, maintain job records and documentation, and support account management and billing queries.

Requirements

Experience in general building services maintenance work.
Well-developed communication skills and the ability to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to produce clear, professional notes and emails.
Comfort working with multiple systems and maintaining accurate records.
A problem-solving mindset with a practical application.

Responsibilities

Carry out building services work orders across the Cardiff area, with a focus on plumbing.
Install and make good plasterboard, skirting and boxing in across a range of spaces.
Carry out first- and second-fix plumbing in hospitality spaces, as well as general repairs.
Complete internal and external decorating projects.
Request required materials and check with the helpdesk that they are delivered to the correct address.
Purchase additional materials and equipment when necessary.
Liaise with clients about queries and explain job issues or challenges.
Confirm each job meets the required standards and provide paperwork for client records.
Update job logs with notes and upload relevant documentation.
Support the Account Manager and Billing Team with query management to aid invoicing.
