About The Position

Lancer Scott is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to carry out building services work orders across the Southampton and Portsmouth areas, with a focus on plumbing. The role covers a range of maintenance and repair work in hospitality spaces and other settings, including plumbing, plasterboard and finishing work, and internal and external decorating. The technician will coordinate materials and equipment, communicate with clients, maintain job records and documentation, and support the Account Manager and Billing Team with query management to assist the invoicing process. Requirements

Experience in general building services maintenance work.
Well-developed communication skills and the ability to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to produce clear, professional notes and emails.
Comfort working with multiple systems and maintaining accurate records.
A problem-solving mindset with a practical application.

Responsibilities

Carry out building services work orders across the Southampton and Portsmouth areas, with a focus on plumbing.
Install and make good plasterboard, skirting, and boxing in across different spaces.
Perform first- and second-fix plumbing and general repairs in hospitality spaces.
Carry out internal and external decorating projects.
Request required materials and coordinate with the helpdesk to confirm delivery to the correct address.
Purchase additional materials and equipment when necessary.
Liaise with clients about queries and explain job issues or challenges.
Check that each job meets required standards and provide paperwork for client records.
Update the job log with notes and upload relevant documentation.
Support the Account Manager and Billing Team with query management to aid invoicing.
