About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers with 21 locations across seven states. The Maintenance Technician helps maintain the facility, equipment, and property, and supports building repairs and technical needs. The role also includes outdoor custodial duties and completing maintenance checklists. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• For candidates in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety.
• Innovative, strong worker with the ability to problem-solve and multitask.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect the facility, equipment, and property for defects.
• Assist with interior and exterior building renovations and repairs, including paint touch-ups and general plumbing issues.
• Assist with technical difficulties involving video calls, internet service, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform outdoor custodial duties, including gardening and snow removal.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment maintenance.
