About The Position

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Finance or Operations within a high-performance organisation.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of SAP and Tableau.
• Strong quantitative and decision-making skills, including the ability to synthesise and distil large amounts of data into action plans.
• Analytical orientation and a strong execution track record.
• Experience successfully engineering or optimising business processes.
• Proven ability to collaborate within teams and cross-functionally.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong networking ability.

Nice To Haves

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Execute insurance settlements for systemised and manually managed Premium, Claims, and Reinsurance programs.
• Perform activities that enable end-to-end systemised settlement, including insurance pricing and rate reviews.
• Track and resolve roundtrip EDI communication errors with insurance partners.
• Investigate the impact of system issues or project gaps, follow through to resolution, and identify any manual settlements required with insurance partners.
• Build subject-matter expertise in systems and day-to-day operations to drive efficiency, accuracy, and simplicity.
• Operationalise new processes and re-engineer existing processes.
• Participate in the project lifecycle and execute UAT activities, identifying and resolving gaps.
• Calculate quarterly accrual values for Finance.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external business partners through regular, open communication.
