About The Position

Nationwide is seeking a Data Designer to perform intensive data analysis, including inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data and resolving issues related to data completeness and quality. The role analyzes ETL components in Informatica PowerCenter to identify existing source-to-target transformation logic; creates visual ETL data-mapping documents using Informatica and IBM InfoSphere DataStage; and develops complex SQL queries to profile source data and verify mapping accuracy in current data warehousing models using Teradata SQL Assistant. The position also automates frontend tools with UFT (QTP) or Selenium and mocks up and tests XML, API, and OOS/web service calls using SOAP UI or IBM Rational Tester. The position works in a hybrid, normal office environment. Associates may have on-call responsibility after normal working hours and/or on weekends. The role is exempt and not eligible for overtime.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Five years of experience performing the listed duties.

Responsibilities
