About The Position

Requirements

• Previous experience as a home inspector is mandatory.
• Certification as an inspector through ASHI, CREIA, or InterNACHI is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction, systems, and safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Availability on Friday and Saturday is mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Availability Tuesday through Saturday or Wednesday through Sunday is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Inspect residential and some commercial properties, including structures, roofs, plumbing, electrical systems, and heating and cooling systems.
• Perform pool inspections, sewer scopes, and mold testing as needed.
• Prepare detailed, easy-to-understand inspection reports for clients.
• Communicate inspection findings and answer clients’ questions during or after inspections.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry standards.
• Use specialized tools and technology to assess property conditions accurately.
