About The Position

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, if applying as a Physician Assistant.
• Current Idaho licensure as a Physician Assistant, if applying as a Physician Assistant.
• Current NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants, if applying as a Physician Assistant.
• Two years of primary care experience for Physician Assistants.
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner education program, if applying as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current Idaho licensure as a Nurse Practitioner, if applying as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification from a national accrediting organization, if applying as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Two years of primary care experience, completion of a clinical nurse practitioner internship, or documented completion of clinical training as a Nurse Practitioner within Terry Reilly, if applying as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Required education, licensure, certifications, registrations, and other job-specific credentials must be obtained and verified before the employee’s start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care services to ambulatory patients served by Terry Reilly clinics.
• Assess patients, make diagnoses, and provide therapeutic measures.
• Provide preventive and curative care, manage acute and chronic illness, and promote wellness.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians when applicable, clinic physicians, clinical care team members, specialists, and community health care agencies.
• Share appropriate information about diagnoses and treatment options with patients and families, using shared decision-making when applicable.
