About The Position

Epic Health is seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join its multi-specialty practice in Metro Detroit. The role provides patient-centered care across stages of life in a fast-paced environment. The position is on-site, with possible placement at locations across Metro Detroit; applicants may indicate a preferred location, but placement there is not guaranteed. During training, the schedule is Monday through Friday in 8-hour shifts. After training, there is an option to transition to a four-day, 10-hour schedule. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. A background check is required.

Requirements

Michigan Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner licensure.
A master’s degree in a related field.
A deep understanding of patient care, willingness to continue learning, and commitment to compassionate care.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt while keeping patient outcomes central.
Background check required.

Nice To Haves

2–5 years of experience in primary care and pediatrics.

Responsibilities

Examine patients, obtain health histories, and evaluate physical conditions to inform diagnoses and treatment decisions.
Prescribe therapy or medications with physician approval and coordinate care plans with physicians.
Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, EKGs, and laboratory work.
Counsel patients on health regimens, growth and development, family planning, and preventative care.
Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations.
Supervise and coordinate technicians and assistants.
