About The Position

EPIC Health is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN–Family Nurse Practitioner) to join its multi-specialty practice in Sunrise, Florida. The role provides patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment, working collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to deliver comprehensive care across stages of life.

Requirements

• Active Florida license as a Physician Assistant (PA-C), issued through the Florida Board of Medicine, or as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN–FNP), issued through the Florida Board of Nursing.
• Master’s degree from an accredited PA or NP program.
• National certification as PA-C (NCCPA), FNP-BC (ANCC), or FNP-C (AANP).
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain it before starting.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to meet Florida prescribing requirements, including controlled-substance authority if applicable.
• Eligibility for payer credentialing in Florida.
• Must pass the Level 2 background screening and fingerprinting required for healthcare workers in Florida.
• At least 2 years of experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Pediatrics is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification.
• Experience in value-based care or high-volume outpatient settings.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients, gather health histories, and evaluate conditions to inform diagnoses and treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with physicians within a collaborative practice framework to develop and deliver comprehensive treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, EKGs, and laboratory work.
• Counsel patients on preventive care, chronic disease management, family planning, and wellness.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, immunizations, and other in-office procedures.
• Partner with clinical staff to coordinate care and support efficient, high-quality delivery.
