About The Position

Epic Health is hiring a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to provide patient-centered care at its multi-specialty practice in South Lyon, Michigan. The role involves examining and assessing patients, diagnosing conditions, coordinating treatment with physicians, performing diagnostic tests and procedures, counseling patients, and supervising technicians and assistants. The position is on-site in a fast-paced environment focused on care across all stages of life. During training, the schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts. After training, there is an option to transition to a 4-day, 10-hour schedule. Background checks are required.

Requirements

Current Michigan PA or FNP licensure.
Master’s degree in a related field.
A deep understanding of patient care, a desire to continue learning, and a commitment to compassion.
Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt while prioritizing patient outcomes.
Background check is required.

Nice To Haves

2–5 years of experience in Primary Care and Pediatrics.

Responsibilities

Examine patients, collect health histories, and assess physical conditions to inform diagnoses and treatment decisions.
Prescribe therapy or medications with physician approval and coordinate care with physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, EKGs, and lab work.
Counsel patients on health regimens, growth and development, family planning, and preventative care.
Perform procedures including injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations.
Supervise and coordinate technicians and assistants.
