About The Position

EPIC Health is seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join its Metro Detroit multi-specialty practice, providing patient-centered care across stages of life. The role is on-site in St. Clair Shores/Eastpointe, Michigan, and involves working in a fast-paced environment alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals. During training, the schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts. After training, there is an option to transition to a 4-day, 10-hour schedule. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. A background check is required.

Requirements

MI Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner licensure is required.
A master’s degree in a related field is required.
A deep understanding of patient care, a desire to continue learning, and commitment to compassionate care.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt while keeping patient outcomes in focus.
Background check is required.

Nice To Haves

2–5 years of experience in primary care and pediatrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

Examine patients, gather health histories, and evaluate physical condition to inform diagnoses and treatment decisions.
Prescribe therapy or medications with physician approval and coordinate care on comprehensive treatment plans.
Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, EKGs, and lab work.
Counsel patients on health regimens, growth and development, family planning, and preventative care.
Perform procedures including injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations.
Supervise and coordinate technicians and assistants.
